Working with Diversity Marketplace was a very worthwhile investment. Our organisation is better thanks to the work we have done with them in creating a community that includes, not just our staff, but the many diverse stakeholders we interact with. Going through though the DE&I audit with the help of Diversity Marketplace helped shine light on the areas we need to target further.
Background
Prior to working with Diversity Marketplace we had published our first diversity and inclusion strategy but needed an updated plan of action and expert guidance on how to do this. Gamiel is known to BAE Systems D&I Function due to his role as Expert Panellist for the Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Benchmarks (GDEIB). Given his broad knowledge of D&I we had the confidence that Gamiel would be able to provide the support that we were looking for that covered a broad range of D&I topics we have.
We needed an expert who could look at the organisation comprehensively and provide us with a clear direction of travel for our future DEI work.
Training
Gamiel provided initial Subject Matter Expertise in the creation of the programme as well as scene setting and mid-way support for all relevant employees.
During the sessions Gamiel ran he also went above and beyond by offering more personalised support to the group should they wish.
Gamiel has remained as a great sounding board to myself and the programme – to which I am very grateful

We worked with Diversity Marketplace to complete a comprehensive audit of DE&I work in our organisation. This provided us with an external perspective rooted in knowledge of current best practice and the tools available.
They provided expert-level knowledge in the DE&I space and helped us access useful resources. They were extremely committed and helped us, not just with the audit, but also with ensuring that the actions stemming from the audit were effectively delivered to the wider organisation.
